Pricing confidence.
If you’re afraid to say the price, it’s too low.
Undercharging doesn’t just hurt your wallet — it attracts the wrong clients and kills your confidence.
This checklist helps you gut-check your pricing strategy, shift your mindset from hourly to value-based, and make sure your number matches the transformation you’re delivering. Say it with your chest. You’re worth it.
Pricing confidence checklist
Have I clearly outlined the transformation, not just the deliverables?
If your client only sees what they're getting (e.g., a logo, a funnel, a site) and not what it's doing for them (e.g., attracting better leads, converting faster, saving time), your price will always feel like an expense instead of an investment.
Am I anchoring price to value or just my own time and effort?
Clients don't care how long something takes - they care what it does. If your pricing is tied to hours or 'scope,' you'll always feel the pressure to justify. Anchor your number to the outcome, and suddenly it's not about cost - it's about return.
Does my offer include a signature framework, method, or unique process?
People pay more for clarity and structure. If your offer feels like a custom free-for-all, it sounds vague and risky. When you name your method or package it as a system, you create perceived value - and justify a higher rate.
Have I given pricing options (good / better / best)?
One price is a yes or no. Three prices invite a decision. Tiered offers empower clients to choose their level of investment - and often result in higher closes on middle or top-tier packages when framed properly.
Do I *feel* excited or resentful when I say the price?
Your emotions are data. If you're dreading the pricing part of the pitch, you're likely undercharging. The right price feels bold but honest - like you're being paid to show up fully, not just to "get it done."
Would doubling this price make me show up differently (and better)?
This isn't about inflating your rates - it's about identifying where you're undervaluing your energy. If a higher price would make you more invested, more thoughtful, or more present... what does that say about how you're pricing your current energy?
Remember: Underpricing doesn't just hurt your income - it sends the message that your work isn't worth the transformation it creates. Confident pricing isn't arrogance - it's alignment.
